Tidelync. Plan smarter, boat safer, stay connected.
FREE BETA · LIVE NOW

A go/no-go for your boat, your route, your hour.

Tidelync reads the marine forecast at every point of your route at the time you'll actually be there, grades it for your boat, works out fuel and ETA, and tells someone ashore if you're overdue. Phone or tablet. No chartplotter, no app store.

The problem

The forecast was never the problem. Nobody turned it into a decision.

Every boat that got into trouble last year left the dock with a weather forecast available. What the skipper didn't have was a tool that applied it to that boat, that route, that hour — or anyone ashore who knew the moment the boat stopped making progress.

What it does today

Three answers before you leave the dock. One lifeline after.

Go / no-go

Graded for your boat, at your hour

The route is sampled every few miles and the forecast is read at the time you'll be at each point — wind, gusts, seas, steepness, fog. The planner scans 48 hours of departures and picks the best window. Multi-day trips get overnight stops and weather holds.

Fuel & ETA

Your hull, your engines, one known burn

Enter your boat (or pick a model close to it) and one fuel-flow reading you trust. Tidelync builds the speed curve from idle to wide-open throttle, drops you off plane when the seas say so, and tells you whether the round trip fits with a third in reserve.

Send for help

Someone ashore knows where you are

Live tracking from your phone, one-tap check-ins, and a help message with your last fix, course, speed, next waypoint, ETA and a link to your track. If you're 30 minutes past a waypoint and not there, it fires. A person calls the Coast Guard; the app never does.

Also on the map: wind field, water-temperature contours, NAVAREA and Coast Guard warnings, NOAA limit lines, buoys and lights, live AIS traffic, every marina in OpenStreetMap plus hand-verified contacts with phone and VHF, boat-in campsites and ramps on the lakes, the Great Loop as 88 stops. Import a route from your chartplotter (GPX / KML), export one back.

Beta rollout

Tested on our own boat first. Then yours.

The planner is free and stays free. The safety layer ships after it has been proven on real passages — on the founder's 28-foot Regal, trailered from Arizona to the Pacific — before anyone pays for it.
